Vols start training camp with split squad practice

The first three practices of fall camp will be split into two squads or, as head coach Derek Dooley called it, two-a-day for coaches. The idea is that the less experienced players will have more chances at reps and opportunities for the coaches to give them more instruction, while the returning Vols have the chance to fine-tune the skills they practiced in the spring.
